Sai was blushing as well, the brunette biting his lower lip worriedly. “Are you sure you’re okay?” he asked, uncertain judging by her blush and shaky words. She must have been very startled by this encounter; he sure was.
“Y-yes…” she averted her gaze once again. “I-I didn’t break anything…” after speaking, Hinata realized that her supposed-to-be joke wasn’t very successful but only made the situation more awkward. Playing with the hem of her shirt, she debated leaving, but that would have just been rude…
Sai smiled softly at her, realizing she was attempting to make a joke out of the situation. “Well, that’s always a good thing,” he said, his gaze softening as the prospect of him being late for class (again) escaped him.
She was getting restless, she wanted to get out and away from this awkward situation. “U-um y-yes…” she dared glance at him again and saw that he wasn’t staring at her anymore. That made her somewhat more relaxed. Her hand came up to play with a strand of hair. She didn’t know what to say, and the awkward silence grew heavier.
“Uh, right then.. I’ll be going now,” he said, suddenly feeling more awkward as he began to walk around the petite woman, his arms stiffly at his sides as he did so.

Shit, shit, shit, he was going to be late for class, again. You would think that of all things, Sai would typically be such a punctual person, but as of lately, he just was out of his league as far as his school schedule was concerned. He blamed his as-of-late mysterious illness, the fainting spells and the low blood sugars. Either way, he found himself running, down the hall and now, directly into something—or rather, someone… someone with rather firm, squishy—oh god… Sai’s body went rigid as he stared down at the girl he had just collided with, his face turning red.
Hinata was walking down the hall, going through the bunch of papers she had just received. Homework, all of it. Maybe she needed to pull another all-nighter to keep up with everything. She had honestly not had time to do her homework lately, especially not with her lacrosse practice. Sighing, she turned to put the papers into her bag when suddenly she collided with something hard. Yelping, she fell backwards and down on the floor, barely managing to catch herself with her hands behind her. Blushing brightly, she stared up at the boy before her, or rather, on the hand that was firmly placed on her chest. Too afraid to even say something, she just stared.
It took Sai a long moment to come to his senses, his mind screaming finally to pull his hand away at the very least, and to get off of the girl beneath him. Oh lord, this was going to be awkward. “O-Oh my god, are you okay? I’m really sorry!” he apologized, quickly removing himself from her and grabbing her upper arms, hoisting the brunette onto her feet as he stared at her, wanting to make sure she was absolutely okay.
“I-it’s o-okay…!” Hinata stuttered as she was pulled to her feet, her face beat red. Dusting herself off in order to distract herself from the boy and his earlier… misplacing of his hand. “Th-thank you…” she muttered, her eyes downcast as she didn’t quite dare to look at him, afraid that she might blush even harder. Glancing up at him, she wondered why he still was standing in front of her. A mistake. Meeting his gaze, her face flushed bright red once again. “A-ah… Sorry…”

//Sai I don’t think your ask box is on.. I can’t access it through your page.. And I can’t reply privately via Ipod. But no it’s not just that it’s just EVERYTHING. I can’t tell what’s real or fake anymore.
//Yeah I had to turn it off. I didn’t know you wanted to reply privately =/ do you want me to turn it on?
//Meh, nah. If you don’t want to. I was just going to answer your message is all. Yeah iPods are stupid like that.

Mei frowned at his reasoning. It seemed to make sense now as to why he had fainted. Breakfast is the most important meals of the day, and she had always learnt to eat rather full in order to have a good healthy head start to the day. Sighing softly, Mei kept on the kind smile as she pushed the infirmary door open, leading him inside before kicking it shut. Lifting him up onto the bed, she made sure that he was lying down properly before getting an ice pack from the freezer after telling the nurse of their arrival. Mei wrapped the ice in a thin cloth and dabbed it over the boy’s face gently, removing the sweat and cooling his heated face down. “Breakfast is important. Make sure you eat it everyday ….. I’m sorry,” A sheepish smile appeared on her face, “I never caught your name. I’m Mei Terumi, and I’m from the Science Department.”
“Y-Yeah.. I tend to get like this when I don’t eat in general.. I think something might be wrong with me. I’ve been getting around to telling my mom about it but I’ve been so busy with my school work that I’ve been forgetting to or just not getting around to telling her. And my name is Sai,” he replied, offering her a weak smile. “It’s very nice to meet you Terumi-san, and thank you for your help..”
